Traceable single estate coffee from the Finca La Laja farm close to the village of Huatusco in the state of Veracruz.
La Laja is owned by Hermilo Sampieri. For three generations, the Sampieri family has produced coffee on the 500 hectares farm, located at 1,100 metres above sea level where the temperatures are a perfect 15-22, the soils are fertile and the tropical climate gives annual rainfall of 2000 ml. Combined these conditions make for perfect coffee growing.
Today, the farm is certified for its sustainable production with Rainforest Alliance and 4C.
This coffee has a spicy taste typical of Mexican coffee, with notes of chocolate, sweet and lemon flavors The coffee has a bright acidity and clean aftertaste.
